ABOUT

I have been playing the piano since I was three years old.

In fact, though I was introduced to music while I was still in uterus, as my mom played both her piano and her accordion while she was pregnant with me. I guess I’ve been trying to get back inside the music ever since.

In the 2nd grade, I was introduced to the violin, which I fell in love with and played in the orchestra all the way through high school. This and being taken to orchestral concerts by my mom gave me a great background in and love for classical music. However, in my senior year in high school, I discovered Jazz, and left the violin behind to concentrate on piano. After 15 years of playing in honky tonks, blues bars and country bands, I was totally burnt out and quit playing entirely for 15 years.

After a life-altering divorce, I went back to the piano and the music started pouring out. I have always had melodies playing in my head, but now they really began to mature and I started writing them down.

Over the years, my skills kept improving til now there seems to be a direct connection between my heart/emotions and my hands and I can capture that emotion in a melody that you will feel deeply and remember for a long time.
